We are delighted that CAU Restaurant following their very successful opening offer have joined our concession scheme, please see the News section below for details of their offer and information about other retail partners. Thanks for all the positive feedback on the London Yacht, Jet & Prestige Car Show which many of you enjoyed attending this month. We are delighted that the organisers are already planning to hold the event here again next year which is great news! Champagne Reception with Oyster Yachts on the 29th April 2015

yachts.jpgOyster Yachts will be returning to the Marina at the end of April and they have invited members of the Friends to a private champagne reception on the evening of Wednesday 29th April with the opportunity to view and go on board the stylish collection ranging from the Oyster 54 to the Oyster 885. Lady Daphne Cruise – to see the Dunkirk Little Ships

1_220_291_90.jpgThis year will see the 75th Anniversary of the Little Ships returning to Dunkirk. In the lead up to this event a number of the Little Ships will sail down the Thames to the Royal Docks on the 16th May. We have arranged an exclusive charter of Sailing Barge Lady Daphne for members to enjoy a river cruise and see the Little Ships sailing by. We plan to board the Lady Daphne at St Katharine's Pier at 2.45pm and sail down to Greenwich and on our return, Tower Bridge will lift for us to sail into the Pool of London and will then lift a second time for us to moor and disembark back at St Katharines Pier at approximately 7.00pm. A finger buffet will be served with wine during the cruise and the inclusive price is £65.00 per head. Numbers are limited to 50 so current members will have a seven day exclusive booking period from the date of receipt of this Newsletter. If there are places left after 7 days, members will be able to book to bring personal guests, so please act quickly to secure your place by clicking here. CAU Restaurant announces their concession deal for FOSKD

food.jpgWe are delighted that after a very successful soft opening offer which many of our members enjoyed, CAU have announced that they will give 20% discount off food only for parties of up to four people accompanied by at least one FOSKD member with a current membership card. Their menu embraces Buenos Aires cuisine, a melting pot of comfort food inspired by Italy and Spain alongside the jewel in Argentina’s crown, its beef. Mouth-watering steaks, burgers and steak sandwiches are joined by a tempting selection of more-ish favourites, each with a distinctive Buenos Aires twist. The restaurant has an open-plan kitchen so you can see your steak being prepared and cooked – all food is cooked fresh on the premises.

We are pleased to announce that John and Fiona Harding who for many years have offered ladies and gents haircutting, styling and colouring, have recently added beauty treatments to their range of services at their newly refurbished salon which is on the ground floor of Ivory House facing the centre basin of the marina. They now offer a full range of beauty treatments including facials, threading and nutrition & lifestyle advice. Current FOSKD members will receive a 20% discount.
